As if I don’t already have enough to do, I somehow invent new things that just HAVE to be done.
This time, I decided to challenge myself to set a spring table with things only found in my house. Could I do it? Would it look ok or like I threw a bunch of junk on a table?
here are the results, and if you have a second, I would love to know what you think…
Here is the list of what I used:
branches
card stock
hot glue
jars
jute
fabric scraps
greenery found in the backyard
white dishes
white tablecloth
tulle
and the paper flowers are based on Martha’s version, instructions HERE.
What I did:
cut the fabric scraps into rectangles, left the edges raw, rolled them and tied them loosely with twine then tuck in a few herbs or flowers
placed tulle over the tablecloth for added texture
added twin to the top of the jars, baby food jars for the candles and blue antique mason jar for the centerpiece
added the card stock flowers and leaves to the branches, made a few extra flowers to scatter on the table
Have a great Holiday weekend!
