Summer is totally flying by, in a great way. We have been so busy having fun that I haven’t had much blogging time even though I have been working on recipes behind the scenes. This one is so simple and kid friendly but with an elevated taste perfect for adults too.
Strawberry popsicles certainly aren’t new, but adding fresh basil to them changes the flavor to something unforgettable. If you are still enjoying an abundance of fresh affordable berries, this is a great way to use them in a totally guilt free summer treat.
Ingredients:
3 cups strawberries- cleaned and hulled
3 tablesoons water
1-2 tablespoons light agave
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/2 -1 tbs basil
Method:
blend all ingredients in blender or food processor until smooth. pour into popsicle molds and freeze until solid.
