simple living.

simple living via sunny vegan

I am on a new journey. An evolution maybe. It’s something I have been interested in for a long time but life and circumstances have lead me in a different direction, until NOW. Right now, I am on a mission to change my life and the way I live. Right now, I am moving to simplify my life and my surroundings. Right now, I am trying to lessen my impact on the environment and make better choices about how I go about things every day.

While this is something I have considered for a long time, when I saw Graham Hill on the Today Show something really clicked.
Have more green while going green. YES!
Have more time for relationships. YES!
Design your life to include more money, health and happiness with less stuff, space and energy. (via YES, YES and YES!

This is a journey that I will be sharing with all of you.
You will see my mess, struggles, stumbles, mistakes, frustration, joy and hopefully some triumphs.

I will be sharing all of this with you (every Wednesday) so that maybe, just maybe, I can save you some of the long and roundabout way I have arrived at my choice. Maybe you can skip the long road and learn the joys of simple living earlier than I have. Maybe if we all make some of these changes together, we can lean on each other, learn from each other and grow together.

Or maybe not and I will end up looking like a fool in the end. Who knows.

Have you ever thought about simplifying your life? What inspires or scares you about having things more simple?

p.s. I took this photo this morning in my backyard, as I am trying to stop and smell the roses, weeds and whatever the heck else is around me 😉

BriGeeski - You have totally inspired me to my own journey of simple living. It was so nice to meet you yesterday and learn more about your simple way of life and vegan lifestyle. I am going to try meatless Mondays too.

Ferly - This is a great journey to be on. I am on the same journey and I blog about ways to do just that! I love when we can literally stop and smell the roses.
